Not a bit like Xmas day - terribly dull, but I don't seem to care these days. I just sit, read and dream. Not at all good for me! Fair no. of presents. Visited Baxters. Oh - blank - there's nothing more to say, so why write it? ------
Don't seem to be in quite such a despondent frame of mind as this time last year, but there was nothing doing all day, so just read and to bed early. ------
Quiet as usual! Went to early Communion and read rest of day. I'm glad Hilda didn't come for Xmas - it wouldn't have been much fun for her. ------
Went to early Communion. Didn't seem very Christmassy. First year we've not had a bird! Knitted most of the afternoon and evening. ------
Dull Xmas. Went for stroll with Dad in morning, after making rabbit pie. Mrs. Donaldson came to tea and liked my cake. Knitted most of day and to bed early.
