Crib or Cribbage:

Players: 2, the dealer and the pone. The object of the game is to be the first player to score 121 points. The dealer deals six cards to each player one at a time, starting with the pone. The deal is passed for each hand.
Both the dealer and pone discard two cards from their six into a centre hand called the crib. This third four-card hand will be scored by the dealer at the end of the round. The next phase is the turn-up. The dealer takes the first card off the remaining deck and turns it face up on top of the deck. If the turn up card is a Jack the dealer scores 2-point automatically. This is called "two for his heels."
The hand now begins in proper. The pone makes the first play using the turn-up card as a base. Each player plays a card alternately until a total of 31 is reached. Face cards are worth 10, all others are worth face value (aces are worth 1).
The object is to score points in one of the following ways: Create a pair by matching the same card as is turned over to score 1-point, make the score exactly 15 or 31 to score 2-points, create a run of three cards to score 3-points, create three of a kind in a row for 6-points or 4 of a kind in a row for 12-points. When one player either reaches 31 or neither player can play, the hand is over. If a player cannot play without going over 31 the opponent scores 1-point.After the hand is played the pone shows all four held cards and scores points based on pairs, runs, 15s and flushes in the hand. The player also scores 1-point if the Jack of the turn up suit is held. The turn-up card is included in the pone's hand. A flush scores either 4 or 5 points. The dealer then does the same. The crib cards are then flipped over and the dealer scores points based on the same calculations as the other two hands. The first player to reach 121 points wins the game.
